You got: space Lego, the original Technic Lego, Transformers, Scalextric, the NES, the Mega Drive, the C64, Star Wars before it sucked, and Masters of the Universe.

You got to discover the original realtime strategy games and 1-on-1 fighters as they were developed. You got Sierra games, Prince of Persia, Myst and freaking Wolfenstein 3D.

Heck even children's animation was better: proper serials like Ulysses 31, Mysterious Cities of Gold, Robotech and Starr Blazers were abundant.

Aside from the internet pretty much everything since in children's entertainment has been a footnote or a retread. You grew up in the 90s, you probably spent your formative years on ICQ or some shit 😉

The original Dragonball (when Goku was a kid) is better than DBZ.

And the Genndy Tartakovsky cartoons are pretty good. Could watch them as an adult too, especially Samurai Jack.

Bah, best thing about being a 90's kid is you got to enjoy all of the above. Hell the Flinstones was one of my favorites and that's from the 60's. Oh, and X-Men was great.

Haha I remember ICQ but never used it. I did waste many evenings on AOL/AIM though....sigh.

Meh never really liked lego. Preferred playing sports.

We also had classic batman animated series. I did play original prince of person and wolfenstein and they were great. Don't know if you ever played prince of persia where you could rewind time and run on walls. Best platformer i have ever played.
