πŸ˜† Just the way he is. I also think our squad, and manager, are very different from his experiences with Inter, Man City and Milan. For me, he'd be a cracking signing. It won't be boring! πŸ™‚

I suppose it's not that funny when the entire club is mismanaged from top to bottom and the criminal fascist in charge has decided to blame you for the collective failings of the team.

I'm still in favour of this, even though it'd probably be a disaster. Not very rational.

my head says no for the same reasons as others, but part of me says, what the hell, just go for it. groundhog season is boring, and super mario would def liven things up, for better or for worse.

My preferences are Cavani-Mario-Benzema, in that order.

On his (our) day Balotelli would make us noticeably better then Giroud. Just a question if how often that it is.

He's a nutcase, less prolific than Giroud, extremely unreliable, tendency to be lazy and can single-handedly ruin the dressing room environment.

What are you basing the claim that he's less prolific than Giroud on?

he's never scored more than 20 goals in a league campaign. one could argue he's never been a starter anywhere apart from milan, but my gut tells me if he came here he wouldn't be more prolific than olly was this season because a) he's streaky as fuck b) him being streaky as fuck would lead to him getting dropped for large portions of the season.

Wenger would support him like no other I think. He always takes a long time to give up on players if they're struggling.

He's of an age where he might turn over a new leaf, mid-20s is when that happens for quite a new players.

How many players on the planet can score a goal like that one?

Then again, how many players on the planet have set off fireworks indoors?

As I said - it wouldn't be boring with Balotelli around. πŸ™‚

Since Giroud has been in England and even then you have to consider about a fourth or third of those goals for Milan must be penalties.

He's got one in two or thereabouts for Milan. His record is probably ahead of Giroud's even factoring in a few penalties.

Also you hate Giroud's lack of productivity, so you must really fucking hate Mario to say that πŸ™‚

At a very dysfunctional Milan team he has 26 goals in 42 league games. I don't think that is less prolific than Giroud. In fact, I know it isn't.

The guy's 23 years old - however long he has been around, his career at the top level is really only just beginning. Wenger would do great things with him, I'm sure of it. He's a master in improving the all round game of his players and even better at getting them to focus and dedicate themselves to being a top level footballer.

In the ideal world I don't think he's anyone's first choice, ultimately though it's about what we can make happen and he's among the best of those who may be available.

Has had a very average season but the potential is obvious and if we turn him down what are we hoping for? Cavani Benzema and co could easily stay put or move elsewhere and we'll end up with who? At 25m or so we need to make the move. No he's not perfect but we're not City or Real who have bought big player after big player and can be picky. There aren't that many forwards out there.

Would Giroud score any of these goals? Balo please.

Yes and I am sure if you look through Rosicky's Arsenal goal collection you could find many stunners. Balotelli scoring a few decent goals doesn't make him more prolific, more reliable and less of a nutcase.

Lukaku would be a much better signing at that money for the club if the big names such as Benz are not available.

But Rosicky had a pretty decent shot before, so his many stunners is just special because he isn't good at it anymore, after his injuries.

I don't think anyone denies Balo is an exceptional talent and is capable of some special goals. But equally, you can't deny he's a nutter who has had problems at every club he's been at. Thinking Wenger will be the one to magically turn that around and make him a consistent and reliable striker is optimistic in the extreme. Just not worth the risk for me.

It's not optimistic in the extreme when you consider that his other managers have been Mourinho, Mancini , Allegri and Clarence fucking Seedorf. The one good manager on that list has a history of falling out with his players.

I no understand πŸ™

I'd be happy with any of Balotelli, Cavani, Benzema and Mandzukic.

Did you never watch Pokemon? Where was your childhood? (Assuming you're a 20-30 year old male....)

πŸ˜† Therein lies the rub.

Pokemon was a child of the 90s thing. Rex is a child of the ... 70s?

The 90s sucked anyway. In the 80s we got proper Star Wars, Transformers, and Masters of the Universe. It was the golden age, laddie.

Its a no brainer for 25m at worst he would get 15 league goals at best he could reach up to 30.

I'd say I am more a child of the 80s than the 70s since I was 7 when the 80s began. No, I never watched pokemon, and nor do I ever intend to.

Brilliant analogy.

It is well documented that Wenger and his team look for mental attributes like a desire to improve, ambition, dedication to training etc in the players they sign. So he isn't a master at getting them to focus per say. He looks for those traits and may not find them in Mario.

This ^^. I am all for signing balotelli but not if we are putting all our eggs in that basket. Cavani please.

Please old timer.....we had Jurassic Park, Pokemon, Batman Beyond, Dragonball-Z, and Crash Bandicoot. There is no contest.

Masters of the Universe, Transformers, Robotech.
None of this Cow and Chicken / Ben 10 rubbish.

Bring in Balo already. Balo + Sanchez is financially doable. Sell Cazorla after that and let the good times roll.

DBZ and pokΓ©mon, beats everything, no contest.

Ben 10 is from the mid noughties btw.
