Sagna's just old. He was a considerably better player at the peak of his powers than he is now.

The City fans can be ignored, they're just clutching at a storyline around an established player and a newcomer (not that Zabaleta doesn't cast a bit of shade on Bac at the moment).

Objectively, he was a damn good right back for most of his time here. Certainly very few wanted him to be replaced.

There are people saying that, some deluded Arsenal fans. DaG for one have been saying for years that Sagna is the best right back in the world, world class.

He also said Arteta is the best DM in the league last season and that he has been immense this season. 😆 Talk about overrating.

I don't think DaG or anyone else ever said Sagna was the best RB in the world. He was top 5 for a good stretch of a time here though. As a pure defender he was as good as it gets.

He's getting old and lacks motivation at City, his level is gonna drop.

Bac was an amazing rightback for over half a decade. He's slowing down now and doesn't play for us anymore. I don't understand why we're still talking about him. Just move on.

Pretty much the entire Arsenal fanbase at one point. I prefer him over Dani Alves was a common one.
