Can he defend well?
Serge Aurier
With Feo and him on the right side we wouldn't be lacking for pace that's for certain!
Gone ta PSG
He announced it on Snapchat
didnt seem to have much going on upstairs, anyway. sick of players like that.
I feel like we dodge a bullet with him
i remember when were linked with matuidi when he was at st etienne. anyway he got trashed on arsenal mania. now he's liked.
anyway i see this going just like that.
Isn't the fact that this guy went to PSG good enough reason to close this thread?
Guessing PSG only loaned him as a way to get round the FFP sanctions? Suppose it shows that they at least care about it, after that ridiculous Luiz deal.
They need a major sale regardless.
Why ?
They weren't allowed to up their wage bill for one, and I suppose they have to pay Sideshow Bob something. They also had a cap on transfers IIRC, but I can't remember what it was. Have they sold/released anyone?
Alex and Jeremy Menez have left. They might have to sell or loan someone to cut wage bill slightly, but unless they spend big think they'll be fine.
Talk that they might now loan Di Maria for a year with guarantee of signing him next summer. Sneaky muthafuckas.
Jallet has gone
Oh, that's some massive sneakduggery right there. Have no idea why Real Madrid would agree to that though.

Makes a mockery of FFP.
right but if the buy aurier and di maria next season, then they won't be able to buy next season, and so on and so forth. what're they gonna do, perpetually loan players with an option to purchase in 2034 or whatever?
Presumably they'll buy a team outside Europe buy players through it and loan them to psg for a season then sell them for cheap to psg.
Or wait for the FFP monitoring period to finish, pass and get the sanctions lifted, then sign Di Maria and Aurier and whoever else next summer.
That makes no difference though, would just fall into the next monitoring period. And bearing in mind the threshold is decreasing from 45m to 30m in a couple of years it makes little sense to delay it. Also bear in mind transfers this summer won't be included in the 'current' monitoring period.
Madrid need the money now to avoid falling foul of FFP, hence selling Di Maria, so it makes little sense waiting until next year. I doubt Madrid would be willing to pay for his wages, so the wage bill restriction would still be broken even with a loan.
