We'll see how good it is during the season. in terms of finances it's been good so far.

How the fuck did they manage to get anyone to buy Aspas, never mind for 7m? And Sunderland paid 14m for a 1 in 4 striker? 😆 I'm assuming it's heavily structured.

Don't think Jose would have sold him to us even if we had shown interest. Everton's a good move for him as well, given the circumstances. Really good prospect and has banged them in the League the last two seasons. Not sure how much his ball-playing skills and link-up play will improve though, since he won't get as many chances to simply use his pace and power on the counter with us as compared to Everton, so he may end up isolated in a fair few games.

Lukaku is woeful. I don't know if he'll develop but I wouldn't fancy being stuck with him as our first choice forward going forward.

In a way I think so too, if Wenger isn't planning another madness for the striker position. However, signing Lukaku now would probably mean that we wouldn't be in for a proper striker next summer either, providing Wenger sticks with what we have for this season.

Yep. 36m buy back fee.

Liverpool agree 8m deal with QPR for Remy, while Real Madrid loan Casemiro to Porto with an option to make it permanent.

So Remy finally got the hint that Arsenal weren't interested.

Decent player, but as an opposition fan you have to be pretty happy with the players Liverpool are bringing in after losing Suarez.

Remy to Liverpool is decent IMO. Him and Sturridge on wings would be lethal.
