The upside with having two good keepers is that it's easy to sell one of them if the situation becomes untenable.
I don't like how we've 'given' starting roles to players like Szczesny and Gibbs in the last few years. Both of them are good players but they lack competition and it has impacted their development just as much as injuries. This summer might be a year too soon to do something about it, but if we're cranking up our spending it's something that will have to be addressed sooner or later.
