Van Gaal, Shaw and Herrera will improve them quite a bit. Still need a couple of players to challenge for the title.
Must be a few on the way out of the swamp

Shaw for 30m is meh. Obviously it would have helped that we didn't release him from our youth academy when he was young but oh well.
You what?!

Aurier it is then
Aurier it always was I'd say.
Or chambers?
It will be Jenkinson next season.
With hector supporting him
I'm ok with jenks getting a shot. Potential is there. He had a spell where he looked really good
If we bought big for up front I could easily cope with Jenko / Hector.

We don't have time for potential. Need finished article!

Both are good players
Order for me goes forward, central mid, wide forward, rightback, centreback
I'd order them forward, wide forward, CM, rightback.
I'd just keep Vermaelen rather than bothering with the hassle of getting another back-up CB.

He's had several long periods where he looked really shit as well.
I like Jenkinson and he is nowhere near as bad as some are making him out to be, but if you are asking him to be first choice next season you are asking for trouble.
Herrera can play as a central midfielder of course, but he isn't very good at it. He is energetic and good at closing people down, but he doesn't actually like tackling, or is very good at it, and his tracking back once the play has passed him is suspect.
He won't solve anything for Man U in my opinion, and if he plays as a central mid it will be to the detriment of the team.

He got rejected by our development centre when he was young.
He was 8 years old.
