Shaw to Utd is official. Meanwhile the Beeb are reporting that Lallana is undergoing a medical at Liverpool and a deal in the £25m range is expected to be concluded in the next 24 hours.

Nicely done Southampton bringing in 60 million for Lambert, Lallana and Shaw.

They will be able to buy a truckload of players with that money. They just need a decent manager to invest it for them.

I fucking hate that United signed Shaw. They have 15 years of top class performances to look forward to now while our regular fullback pairing next season will be the two lads who can't break into the England squad.

No guarantees he will be able to develop as it is. Lucas Digne only costs 15m euros for PSG, Shaw is so overpriced and overhyped. He will make alot of defensive mistakes for United if they gonna throw him in like this.

Could you imagine if Saints sell Lovren and Schneiderlin too? They really will be like Spurs last season, so many new players to gel.

Show me an 18 year old leftback on Shaw's level then. The lad is a stellar talent who's already performing. He was one of the two or three best leftbacks in Premier League last season. He's already got 50 professional starts under his belt at such a young age and regularly outshines players who are 5-6 years older than him. He's only going one way and that's up. He would walk into every top team in Premier League at the moment.

I haven't seen anything like that from Shaw, he looks athletic for his age but...the rest? Haven't seen it.

Still a potential talent, I think it remains to be seen if he comes good.

He's already good. The question is how great he's going to be. The quality is as obvious as it was in a young Ashley Cole all those years ago.

Agree with that. Filipe will (probably) be the best left back in the league, with Shaw a close second.
