Not watched this season yet, just popped in for a peek, but no season prior to this has gotten good before episode 6.

I don't think any of them have been that good to be fair. Maybe the first one.

The first one was definately the best.

Finale of Justified was disappointing. Fairly routine clearing the decks and setting up the final season, a lot of which felt contrived and out of character in various ways.

Showrunners need to start bucking the trend of antagonists that last for exactly one season. Very dull.

Pretty meh episode. The show seems to have been designed to leave you with blue balls.

Is he Irish? I didn't realize he was in The Wire until I re-watched that series recently. Best thing television has produced for me.
Qs, thanks for the tip on Deadwood! Have 1 episode left of the first season, and it is truly great. Some great characters in it, and the dialogue is absolutely brilliant. My only disappointment is that Hickok was killed. The Swearengen character is absolutely brilliant.

deadwood is up there among the best shows i've seen. would've liked 1 more season to finish the story properly.

Deadwood was great at the time, I think it dropped off pretty sharply in season 3, despite having one of the most brutal fight scenes in TV history.

Or at least that's how I remember it: must admit I tried to rewatch it a couple of years back and couldn't get into it again.

Lots of great characters though. Dayton Callie, Rebecca Sievert, Jim Beaver, Brad Dourif, Jeffrey Jones, William Sanderson, Garret Dillahunt, William Earl Brown are all great as second tier characters. They tend to keep showing up in good stuff too.

The guy who took over Crasters Keep looks like a young Klaus Dai, i mean a young Willem Dafoe. Very similar.

I like Hodor and those wolfs. At least they kill people and don't just whine and moan about who said and did what to whatshisface.

Hodor didn't kill Noah Taylor it was Bran controlling his head cos he's a warg.
