Yeah thats another difference, in the book Brienne is a complex character a lost misfit searching for acceptance, and she suffers anxt when she kills.
Now she's been reduced to a crotch punching man hating feminist.

Maybe it would but it's an important influence on Tyrion's complex feelings towards Jamie and therefore their relationship from here on. And it's an important relationship in the series.

The line "You'll never walk again, but you will fly" sounds like a total setup for some future storyline where he wargs into a dragon. Is this kind of thing even possible in the GoT world, or are they too strong to be controlled? I've suspected for a while that the Targaryen kings and queens have some similar (albeit not identical) ability which developed through their shared bloodline with the dragons. Maybe this will be how they counter the white walkers.

That's a popular theory, but I think it'll turn out to be a red herring. They have to be weak minded creatures/people for it to work.

He will indeed have a role to play, but it'll be in the war against the white walkers.

I do think a Stark might yet have some involvement with a dragon, but I just don't think it's Bran's story arc that is heading this way.

I enjoy Bran's chapter in the books but It is difficult to translate them to a TV screen.

I watched season four over the past few days, must say I quite enjoyed it. There was a fair bit going on in the last few episodes and some parts - like the Oberyn-Mountain and Brienne-Hound duels, and the defence of the Wall - were epic.

The conclusion with Tywin Lannister hit home pretty hard as well, harder than it did in the book.

Hoping Benioff and Weiss will sort through the stupid "double plot" structure of the next two books and put it all in chronological order the way it would've ideally been when Martin wrote it. Massive task though.

I think that's the secret to GoT the tv show. I haven't enjoyed any of the seasons as much as the first and that was the only one i watched over the course of a week.

I think it's because there's so many stories and characters and they show like 7 minutes of each one every episode that it gets too fragmented when watching it once a week.

I always watch shows like GoT, House of Cards, True Detective etc. in one go. When all the episodes are out i try to take 3-4 days to marathon watch the whole season.
