Cesc has done his time here. We've moved on, he wouldn't find a place in our midfield now.

Schneiderlin-Ramsey may make more sense but the prospect of a Cesc-Ramsey-Ozil midfield with Ox and Theo out wide is too mouthwatering for me to be sensible.

It might sound cliched but I really think we need some physicality in our midfield. I don't mean a 6ft4 bruiser, but someone with the same physical attributes as Ramsey.

I've always felt that Cesc was much, much better in a deeper role. I'd love to have him back too, probably my favourite player.

What's happening with El Shaarawy? With AC Milan out of the CL we should look at him for our left side. Reus isn't possible and we face strong competition for Griezmann so another option.

Cesc can't partner Ramsey. He's absolutely not up for the defensive job.

He'll be a big part of the Barca setup going forward IMO. I don't think he'll leave.
