Laporte will cost similar to what Mangala will go for, and Mangala is a lot better IMO.
Griezmann is also no dud. He would be perfect for our squad, either playing when Walcott is injured/rested/out of form, or on the left flank with him.
If Wenger commits to playing AOC wide, then I could live with not getting a wide player in and just focus on a top class striker and a top class midfielder/defender.
Sami Khedira is soon back from injury and looks set to make the German WC squad. He is 27 years old, and I think Real Madrid are ready to sell him. He has been getting so much abuse from the Madrid fans and the media too, so I think he will be well up for a change. That would be a class, opportunistic signing for us, and I can't see him costing too much either.
