I think we need a south American player to fill the aguero/Suarez void. Falcao would fit perfectly, or Hulk.
i did say that. in an ideal world, we go out and get a LW and a Striker. but we don't live in an ideal world. we live in Wenger's world where we will be lucky to get one mid-priced forward.

it's tough. we need speed, goals and/or dead ball specialists coming in. Reus/Griezmann on the wings and a Costa type in the centre. and then i am sure we can pick up someone cheap in midfield. even Diame. then we should have enough bodies
We need speed up front, but we also need to replace Arteta. Flamini isn't good enough, Arteta's legs are gone and Diaby can't be trusted. Wilshere isn't ready. Priorities this summer have to be striker and central midfield. Get two quality players in early and then go to work on the rest of the squad.
Banega could do a great job alongside Ramsey.

I'd take a punt at Banega. Lack of consistency is mostly due to off-the-field injuries, such as running himself over with his own car (yes, really), and a disorganised personality. Who knows, he might shape up in England. Seems out of favor at Valencia too. They loaned him back to Argentina, didn't they?
