Since Xhaka days are numbered, I would love to see us go for Sandro Tonali. Absolutely unreal passing range, the closest player to Pirlo.

Give me the first two. Sell Luiz, Lacazette, Mustafi etc to make it happen. I doubt our ends extend as far as Zaha. He’s a menace though.

Supposedly the biggest midfield talent Italy have ever unearthed. He's only 19 so who knows what'll happen to him in the long run, but from what I've seen I think the hype is earned. I reckon he's as good as Cesc was at that age. Technically perfect player, and they've had the good sense to develop him as a midfielder instead of turning him into a forward.

Tonali is an incredible player. He’s being hailed as the Italian talent of a generation. Still feel we would need him AND a Partey though to get midfield balance right. But I’d have Tonali over Xhaka and send our Swiss friend back to Bundesliga

😆 yeah, not surprised Milan fans are drooling desperately for him. Tonali is reportedly a Milan fan. I think he'd stay in Italy, but nearly everyone wants him. PSG and Liverpool have asked about him in the past in addition to the big Italian teams.

Another player I think should be targeted is Dani Olmo. Biggest talent from Dinamo since Modric.
