I'm not really sure of that. Moutinho has been the utterly outstanding CM at Wolves this season.
If you combine his assists, chance created, tackles and recoveries you are looking at the most all rounder midfielder of the season.
Exactly, sir.
When we played Rennes in March, Sarr featured. There wasn't a clamour for his name. At that point, he had played 40 games with 10 goals and 10 assists. Good but not great stats. In our games he, scored a goal but did not explode. He looked like a hardworking winger with pace and acceleration and variance in end-product.
And that's where he is right now. He gets past his markers a lot, a confident dribbler without being fancy. He is still working on the final touches - decision making in the box and final deliveries, but he is committed enough to still have 20+ goal contributions for the season.
He has that Welbeck strength and pace on the right, but is certainly more decisive about coming in to create shooting opportunities from the left.
He is clearly not the finished product, but he has caught the eyes of Mislintat and Barca (who tried to acquire him before Rennes). So that's what you are buying.
