Weird. The video is of Jadon Sancho, who's managed to become a very important player for Dortmund this season. Just today he scored two goals, which I actually hadn't seen when I posted the video. He's also number one on Bundesliga's assist list.

I’m a bit scared he’s a bit vacant between the ears. Don’t know what his stats look like in terms of goals and assists but he can be a threat out wide. Wouldn’t be my first choice tbh, however he likely would do a better job out there than say Mkhitaryan, on a more consistent basis

The lad is about to turn 26. If we were going to splash out £50m+ for Zaha I'd like to believe he could be about to explode but I just don't see it.

Also for me a 'head down' player needs to produce a lot in order to justify the cost to link play that comes with having a player of that mould in the side, and his numbers are just about ok.

I really think he's about to explode, stats-wise, but there's only so much space to grow at Crystal Palace.

Saw Shearer's analysis, but just confirmed what I have witnessed so far of him. Most of the tackles he made on those highlights were him going off his feet and sliding in. On another day he mistimes and gets booked, but those are traits that can still be corrected. The real positive is his pace, his growing positional sense and desire to make the tackle, which is unusual for a pretty late convert to the position. Wouldn't break the bank for him, but at the right price worth a punt. Unless Palace get relegated, there's no way they are selling him.

See all the traits of a super player in Zaha. He is deceptively strong and I think ready to make the step up to a big club. He puts in performances like that in any other league and people would be wishlisting him.

While at Palace he has to force things from a lot deeper, but if he has less responsibility in that area of the pitch and can concentrate on making runs into the box, his stats would be even better. If we were to gamble on splashing out on a Premier League player, I would definitely go for Zaha as his type are extremely rare. He's at a good age and actually supports Arsenal.

Yep. He has one thing working against him and that's his supposed price tag. Since Manchester United are entitled to half of his transfer fee maybe a player plus cash deal would be more appealing to Palace, though.

Who could we offload that they might be interested in - Chambers, Elneny, Welbeck, Mkhi and at a real stretch Jenkinson. The other option is to include one of our promising youngsters, maybe Eddie or Nelson on loan.

Yeah, Chambers and Holding are the obvious ones I think. I'd rather not sell Holding truth be told, but he'd be worth parting with if we could secure someone like Zaha in exchange. Maybe one of them on a permanent transfer with Maitland-Niles on a season-long loan as a bonus. I don't think Mkhi or Elneny would be interested and Welbeck is not going to transfer for a fee anywhere when he's a free agent in the summer and can have his pick.

Personally I think securing Eddie on loan for a year/18 months would be a good deal for them, but he's 19 and doesn't have any profile so it's understandable if they're not exited about the prospect.
