Grimandi was far from a coward but I've never seen a player come on and change how a team performs for the worse so much in my life. He was awful.
Getting into the top four with a DDS midfield was an unbelievable achievement.

😆 So true.

Its hard to call it an "unbelievable achievement" when its self inflicted though. Its like running a marathon in a chicken suit, yeah its tough going and well done for doing it but you'd have done a lot better in shorts and a t-shirt.
Since the achievement was getting into the top four and not just simply playing with a DDS midfield, wouldn't a more fitting comparison be actually getting a good placement with the chicken suit?
😆 Honestly not trying to be difficult.
Pavon / Sarr / Pepe / Malcom (loan) Almiron / Haevertz / Barella
Anyone know much about Palace's Wan-Bissaka? My friend has been raving about him for a few weeks now, says he looks a quality RB in the making.
Yeah, wishlisted him few weeks ago. Gonna be huge as a RB very soon, he has everything in his locker as a young RB.
Been their best player this season by a mile. Which is pretty impressive for a teenager playing right back.
He does look good, doesn't he? England have a couple very interesting fullbacks emerging in him and Sessegnon.

He's this season fantasy football must have.
What do ya'll think of Hakimi? Is he gettable?
Very little chance. Dortmund have no option to buy but a 'matching right' after the two year loan is done. Currently he looks as comfortable on the left as he does on the right meaning Madrid will probably build him up as Marcelos successor
Don't they already have Theo Hernandez who will take over at LB? Would have thought Hakimi will push Carvajal out after 2-3 yrs.

He looks a fantastic talent. His pace with the ball at his feet is incredible.Â
We definitely need to be out looking for a LB with Kola being so injury prone.

Seems legit.
So hope we sign him
Former winger converted to FB and has been use on the right and left side. Bags of pace but positional sense for a defender is still very raw. Goes to ground in the tackle far too much which is very risky. Those traits won't be ironed out at Palace. Maybe worth a punt as still young enough to be coached and his attacking play is already decent with scope to get a lot better.
