A commanding centre back would be my absolute priority. In reality we probably need two.

Next is a goalkeeper. If we can keep the back door shut, I think we'll immediately been in contention for the top 4.

In terms of attacking players, we badly need an explosive winger. However, we can buy whichever attackers we want, but nothing will change until the defence is solid. It's the absolute priority.

Defence comes from coaching, personnel is secondary. Get Jardim or Simeone in, bring in maybe another experienced stop gap with them. Get Soyuncu or better yet Diallo, talented kids with a low price tag especially the latter could become our new Touré

Replacing Cech comes next. Oblak and Allisson would be perfect and worth actual 15 points a season, too expensive for our stingy board though. Lots of good alternatives in Germany, I'd go for Hradecky who's as good a shot stopper as anyone in Europe, great command of the box too. Shit distribution although it's gotten better recently, big bonus is he's a free agent.

Next is CM. Go all out for Ndombele, covers as much ground as a full three man midfield and would be the perfect partner for Xhaka. Sell Ramsey to fund him, he's not extending and he's inherently flawed anyway as much as he brings to the team our balance is always off when he's on the pitch.

In attack we need mostly backups if we're playing 4-4-2. I'd take a punt on someone young and cheap with potential like El Haddadi especially if we're as broke as we're reported to be, otherwise try and go for Guedes.

Jones, best plan I've seen so far. Few things about it

Doable within a £100m envelope with Ramsey leaving
Ramsey going solves a couple of things. First, he would be the big shake-up the squad might need to wake up. Second, Kamikaze's Ozil Enigma is actually an Ozil/Ramsey Riddle because we need to accommodate two attack-inclined players in the middle of the park
Ndombele/Diallo give us a lot of great power

I like the flexibility of Perez back.
Question: where are Welbeck and Koscielny.

Cheers Claude. Yeah Perez is a severely undervalued option and could be used in the way Welbeck currently is as a wide forward, albeit with a lot more structure and end product in his game. I'd put Welbeck on the market, he should still fetch a good fee even if he's just hitting his first bit if good form since signing for us. Keep Koscielny as fifth choice although he's probably a non-entity for most of next season.

I'd guess you'll like the look of Gbamin too, he's another powerful defensive player with good ball retention and distribution, mostly a DM but has played half the season at centre half. Should make a 35m offer to Mainz for both and be done with it

I'm looking forward to what next season brings. Honestly talent wise we're really up there it's just down to the manager to get the team to play to its strengths.

Good plan

For me I would get Leno as goalkeeper, apparently there is a clause in his contract for €18mil.

Then in defence would go all out for De Vrij and buy diallo (but I really like Lewis Dunk,but I fear he would cost too much)

In midfield I would get Max Meyer, and one of Ndombele or Fabinho they should cost around £40 mil

Upfront either Martial for around £50-60mil or Dembele on loan with option to buy next season.

I would look to sell Bellerin, and bring in Cedric at half the price.

If Ramsey or Ozil have to be sold, so be it. Ideally we would keep both.

I think Luis Alberto is an interesting player to keep in mind this summer. He's been in insane form lately. He's mostly been used centrally this season but he can play on the wing too. I'm not sure how it would affect his output if he did (I reckon the biggest issue is that he's not that quick) but 12 goals and 20 or so assists is a terrific season record, especially when you're playing for Lazio. A lot of coaches seem to have expected a big boom from him at some point.

I wonder if Roma still are desperate for cash after their Champions League run. Alisson would be my choice. We could be set for the next 10-12 years.

Yeah, Alisson has absolutely insane potential. Amazing shot stopper and the best distribution in Europe currently. Decent command of the box is a bonus.

Neuer at Bayern is 32, so they could start looking at options
Navas is a box of chocolates to me. I've never really been convinced, so I feel Madrid should go into the market
Juvenuts cannot hope to replace Buffon with Sczesny

So there's a few candidates out there. But the goalie market is not bad. Alisson, Oblak, Donnaruma. Even Valencia's Neto still has 4 or 5 seasons left in him

Lol @ Swansea level. He’s good enough to keep making a competitive French National team. He has a higher upside than both Iwobi and Welbeck, while Mkhitaryan is an old man. If they say a decent price, would be worth a look
We should at least also look at Fabinho. Anything under £50m makes sense
