There's a compilation somewhere of him picking apart Chelsea in the Champions League. It was about 2 years ago I think. He was only 18 at the time. The performance reminded me of Cesc at Bernabeu.

I almost never get excited over young talents, but I think Neves has everything you could ask for in a midfielder.

I would love to see us push the boat out and sign 2 - 3 top young talents (like Dortmund did in 2016) early. I think Dortmund signed Dembele, Guerreiro, Mor, Merino and a few more before the Euros began. If we could get someone like a Tielemans / Pulisic / Tah / Malcom early, that to my mind has to be the way to go rather than journeymen like Lacazette and Kolasinac.

I think most of us are in the same page. The question is how we decide who to get.

Is Neves better than Wiegl?

Malcom or Fekir?

Meyer or renew Wilshere and Rambo

Ndidi or the Lyon DM or Fabinho?

Diallo or Manolas??

Or do we just need to pick up as many as is financially possible disregarding if they play in the same position?

It will be fascinating to see.

I will have to find this one later today. He does look very intriguing. The fact that he is thriving in the most physically demanding league, is quite interesting, but tactically the premier league is another world away.

Angel Correa is a great option. So good at most things except of course, finishing which is a shame.

It still doesn't fit the bill. Kolasinac is 24 and had his breakout season in 2017 ffs.

Also I don't think the term is really as applicable in football the same way it is in boxing?

Kos is finished. We need a replacement for him and have to hope Mustafi can sort himself out and Holding or Chambers start to deliver more consistently.
