If United change manager he could be great again too. Their whole attack is pretty fucking good if you get a capable manager in. Imagine having a front 4 of Pogba, Lukaku, Sanchez and any of Rashford, Martial, Lingard, Ibra, etc and being as shit as United.

Exactly.

Pogba, Verratti and Rabiot as you say would be downright terrifying.

The funniest thing about the whole saga, is that United spent that crazy amount of money, with seemingly no plan on how to use Pogba.

Martial is garbage on the right, that's part of why people turn on Sanchez. Martial was playing great there until they bought Sanchez and had to move Martial to the right side. The left side is also Rashford's best position. 😆 This is basically as opportunistic a signing as you'll ever see.

Yeah, Martial on the right may not make sense. Don't think Mourinho - rightfully or wrongly - ever felt Martial was playing great on the left, and that's why he probably approved the Sanchez deal.

Interesting that Sanchez hasn't been afforded the opportunity to play as a SS / 10 since he left Udinese.

He is capable of some truly amazing passes, but he's also very inconsistent with his passing. I think this would be exposed much more as a CAM. I know I'm in the minority, but I actually liked him best on the right side for us. He prefers to cut inside, but on the right he had to go on the outside as well because of his weak left food. On the left there's no question - he cuts inside every time and as he's become slower and the defenders are aware of it, it rarely works.

I think we should go all-in for someone like Justin Kluivert this summer. Throw a wad of cash at Ajax and see where it lands us. It's about time we get a player who's a massive future hope and is also capable of delivering a bit in the present. He would be a good solution for the left wing.

Definitely Klaus. We need 2 or 3 like that IMO. Even if they leave in a few years it'd be for a huge amount that you could then reinvest. Thats the only way for us to return from this slump to compete with richer clubs.

You're talking the Mbappe transfer we should have done in 2015. I'm all for it as well. Hopefully, Mislintat has 3 or 4 such ideas in the works. Some you'll win. Some you'll lose. However, you'll gain nothing hoping Welbeck will blossom in Bergkamp.

Matthijs De Ligt anyone? Looks like the real deal to me. Fantastic ability and calmness on the ball for such a young defender and now starting for Holland at 18 years of age. Schooled at Ajax too.

Yes, lots of rumours circulating that Barca see him as Piqué's successor.
