Dillinger, our problem is our billionaire is an actual sports investor, one who has achieved great success through the American franchise system where teams earn lots of money, and only partially pay for their own stadiums

Liverpool are above us as well - and look more likely than us to get third at the moment. My point is not about Liverpool though, but simply that I think Wenger is past it, not just about stubbornness in transfer windows, but also as a manager - tactics, styles, preparation and so on. We need an upgrade on the touchline almost as much as we need one upfront.

Random question for those who have watched him, have heard in attack he is very good. What's he like defensively? Does he track back often or is he a bit like Theo for us and only gets back occasionally?

Pires-like defensively from what I can tell. Shouldn't be a problem in a team that keeps the ball better than we currently do.

Get rid of Giroud to someone like Dortmund might even make some money on the 9.6 million we spent on him. Get in top class striker and use the Giroud money on Remy.

Might be a problem for us though, a few teams have already exposed us out wide and having him and Theo out wide might be asking for trouble. Unless we get someone alongside Ramsay who helps us retain the ball a lot better.

Should go for players like Lavezzi, Martinez, Gundogan, Costa, Cavani etc. No need to fill the squad with players who won't significantly strengthen the first team.

Javi Martinez is a good shout. Has he been injured or something this season? Because he's certainly not getting many games under Pep and he'd be brilliant behind Ramsey as an aggressive defensive mid.
