Also, speaking of strikers, has anyone on here watched Anthony Martial of Monaco? Used to be a very highly rated striker I believe and constantly linked with us. Is either of those still true and would he be worth buying this summer?

He's definitely stronger than Keane imo. Keane was a very aggressive midget who was strong for his height but he wasn't exactly Hercules.

I'm not describing Vieira and Xavi rolled into one, Pogba is obviously very young and still a work in progress, however he's very gifted and imo his all round game is underrated precisely because of the screamers he scores regularly. That he's not as good as Verratti is no shame either as the latter would walk into virtually every team in the world.

Defence is not a priority rather than power/physical presence on the ball so they are not easy to dispossess or unsettle.

We're being linked to Inter's Handanović as well in Italy, rumour there is Roma, ourselves and Man Utd are interested. If we can't get Cech I certainly wouldn't mind signing him.

Obviously, though, you never really know who's available and who isn't, so I hope we're all over just about any world class player that comes on the market. And any young player that has the potential to become a top class player. No more average players; quality, quality, quality!

No, not really. He's a good player, does his job well and has league experience, but he's nothing special. He'd probably improve us because he's a better player than Coquelin at this point, but I think we need to aim higher. We need someone that can do what Scneiderlin does, more or less, and also has proper technical ability. They're out there they just Cost a fortune.

I'd pass on Draxler and Isco. One for a stalled development, and another for not offering a whole lot new.
