I think he's in a different league to Ramsey or Keane physically, gets very rarely if ever bullied from the ball. Wins most headers and is generally tough as shit, people tend to only notice his ridiculous goals and as a result his overall game as in passing and defending is a bit underrated or underappreciated. I'd sell half the squad to have him here, he'd tear shit up in England and would score hat tricks every time we play United.

Keane would walk all over him. Is there an aggressive bone in Pogba's body? He's a huge talent, but totally agree with Otf that he doesn't use half of his physical gifts. And he's far too nice. Got to be one of the least physically intimidating massive athletic specimens I've ever seen.

He's definitely not more physical than Keane, he's just bigger. I like Pogba quite a bit but what you are describing is Vieira, Zidane and Xavi rolled into one.

Pogba is Juve's third or fourth best midfielder. He's not a bad player at all, and his potential is pretty devastating for a 22 year old, but I think there's a narrative being created by people who rarely watch him play. And that narrative has more to do with how he looks and where he's from than what he actually does on the field. Someone like Marco Verratti is the same age and superior in every aspect - even when it comes to being physical - but he doesn't get the same accolades because he doesn't look the part.

Agree. Combine that with the highlights he produce from time to time and people's perception of him gets severly skewed. Veratti is a much better player.

Thiago without any shadow of doubt. He's the most talented but as time says the injuries would be a concern

Thiago is no doubt a big talent, but I can't for the life of me look at our squad and come to the conclusion we need another box to box central mid who excels on offense.
