Na, Rodgers has thrown Mario to the wolves a number of times this season. Very, very poor man management as soon as things weren't going hunky dory.
I'd probably steer clear of him at this point because he's just blown a very good chance to do something with his career at Liverpool (handicapped by having a tit for a manager though), but there's always the chance he sorts himself out and makes use of his world class ability for someone, somewhere.
