I want both Ki and a new starting player. He's just the closest to Arteta I can think of with Premier League experience. We need that type of player much more than we need a new Coquelin.

Completely agree that we need two more, just think that player to replace Arteta should be better than Ki. We should finally replace Diaby with a player of his kind, could be Kondogbia, and then Arteta with one of Rabiot/Cabaye/Moutinho/Gündogan. Flamini replaced by Coq, and we're set there.
Two is overkill numbers wise.
Coquelin, New CM, Ramsey, Jack, Santi, Ozil, Ox and Rosicky makes 8 players for 3 positions. Even if you move Ox wide and assume Jack is a crock, that's 6 for 3 which is perfect.

All of them come with their own set of problems though. Rabiot and Cabaye doesn't play, Moutinho is old and average, and Gündogan is potentially top class but has made ten starts in two years. I think Ki is a good deal better than all of them on current evidence. He's cheaper too.
Let's raid the spanish top 2 again. Busquets and Bale.
Bale--Ozil--Sanchez ------Ibra

I don't think we need three DMs. Coquelin and one new one is enough. Arteta can stay if he wants.
Ibra Bale or Sterling Schneiderlin Cech
😆 This really is the wishlist!
I wonder if Vidal might entertain a move this summer. Maybe Juve would rather sell him than Pogba since Pogba is a few years younger.
Oh... Vidal would be the dream signing. Does Wenger have another madness in him do you think? This time last year I was pining for Griezmann, because that is about as good as we were ever likely to get, and then Wenger went and signed Alexis.
I might prefer Griezmann to Alexis right now tbh, even though Alexis is the more talented footballer.

A player like him though gets to this sort of age and the body starts breaking down. The wear and tear of years of putting your body on the line. He's often injured now isn't he?
I think Wenger has some madness in mind for the summer, yeah. I'm not sure it'll happen in midfield though.
Seriously, Vidal is the best in the world on his position. His dominance can be likened to a prime Vieira. It was eerie to see him boss Dortmund around tonight. I know they've played poorly all season but it was still a CL knockout game. He made guys like Gündogan look like amateurs. Been a long time since I saw someone manhandle Reus like that. Vidal and Marchisio obliverated him.

I think he's fine. He struggled a bit with a knee after the world cup but he's back on track. At 27 he's probably got at least four great seasons left in the tank. That's a Premier League title or two if we sort our shit out.
Was more impressed by Marchisio, that guy is brilliant.
Marchisio is awesome. So bloody underrated by everyone outside of Italy.
It's ridiculous to think of how many quality players Juventus have. They should've achieved more in Europe the last years than they have.
