Not sure how you can appreciate a player like Ozil so much and not rate Reus when Reus exhibits so many of the same qualities? Both of them are genius players when it comes to knowing the movement of the players around them and then picking the right pass at exactly the right time. They make the right choice almost all of the time.
Why do you think Dortmund's fortunes completely turned around when Reus returned? He knits it all together, and makes players like Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan passable footballers at this level. A lot like Ozil for us.
And the funny thing is Reus can do what you rate so highly in other wide players like Sterling or other nippy little wide players that you have tended to rate over the years that go at their man, usually head down and have questionable success rates, assists and goals.
Basically, Reus is absolutely top drawer, mate!
