IMO he doesn't provide enough cover or width in a more traditional WF role,
whereas in the aforementioned Sth American based 4231 the roles are as for a 4222, and he plays as more of an SS or Advanced Forward in primarily a goal scoring role.

Hope we go for Jose Gaya this summer before he explodes. Looks extremly talented, quick, agile and technical from what I've seen this season. Only 19 and already better than Gibbs/Monreal. Valencia have a good history of producing good LB's lately, Alba, Bernat and now this guy, all very a like, and it's a player with such qualities we need at LB.

Yeah he looks really promising. I like what I saw of him this season. They haven't missed Bernat a single bit because of this kid.

Valencia has got a few very interesting players. Too bad they are very rich now. Won't be easy to buy players from them

Tevez is a beast, we'd be so lucky to have him. Using Berbatov instead of him might be one of Fergie's biggest mistakes, along with not giving Pogba chances. He's said that he wants to return home when his contract is out, though. I'm not surprised that he's willing to give up his career to live in Argentina, we saw that when he was at City.

Tevez is real quality, him and Sanchez would be almost but not quite, Bergkamp and Henry.

Tevez is, like, 32 and has never performed for an entire season. He's great when he's on song but he's easily one of the worst wasters ever when you look at what he could have been and weigh it against what he currently is.

Pogba wasn't ready before Fergie retired. Not so much a mistake as him not giving a fuck about United once he was gone.

Pogba should have gotten at least a couple chances to show his worth, he did so immediately at Juventus. He certainly wasn't so bad that you'd have to use a geriatric Scholes or the Brazilian shithouse twins in midfield ahead of him.

Pogba was lazy of the ball, and still is to some extent. United played a 4-4-2 during those days, and it was a risk for them to have a maverick like him in central midfield working hard offensively, but not doing much without the ball. It's far less of a problem when he's play wide in a diamond.

That's what you have a manager for, to sort his shit out and get him to play at both ends of the pitch. Pogba plays next to Methusalem Pirlo at Juve, that he doesn't work hard defensively is a myth.
