Handanovic, De Sciglio, Schneiderlin, and Reus. All either out of contract in 2016 or otherwise available next summer.
We don't need a goalkeeper, and we still look short on quality up front.
Is Szczesny the best we can do?
Szczesny, Gibbs, Debuchy, Welbeck, Walcott.. None of them are the best we can do. But we need to concentrate on the really pressing matters, which are defensive midfielder, CB, and left winger/forward. In that order.

Not many wingers out there as productive as Walcott to be fair.

I love Walcott and I'm happy with all of the players I mentioned (except maybe Debuchy). My point was simply that a player not being "the best we can do" doesn't mean we need to upgrade on him. We aren't Real Madrid. We need to upgrade on pressing matters, not on players that just aren't the best we can do.
I think he may be questioning why left wing is considered a pressing matter to you when we have Walcott and Sanchez for the wings.
To be honest I don't see Walcott suddenly stop getting injured all the time.
Chamberlain is ok for the wing role, that is not a pressing need. For example I would rather spend our big signing on javi Martinez rather than Reus.

So would I, or I wouldn't have said "DM, CB and left winger/forward. In that order." Also, I don't think left winger is a particularily pressing, just much more pressing than goal keeper.
To be fair if your keeper's doing more pressing than your left winger, your tactical issues are the highest priority.
Hehe.
Although tactical issues may in fact be our biggest problem. 🙁
Cavani stinking it up in Paris

Cavani is a classic example of a player who is expending so much energy all over the pitch by having to play outside of his natural position, that he lacks the calmness of mind and feet when he does get his chances.
Lol. Okay.
He should have forced the issue and moved this summer. His price tag is rapidly dropping as well so PSG won't get much return now either. He'll be 28 by next summer and should be at the absolute peak of his powers but is being wasted out wide instead.
We can't blame PSG, whenever he plays in the centre in flattered to deceive. He has been extremely poor in the middle.

Theres only one problem at this club.
It you believe that you're probably the most positive person on this board!
Summer targets (presuming we at least secure the DM & CB requirements in Jan): CF - Benzema/Cavani - if we retain our current style WF - El Shaarawy/Pedro - dribbling goal scoring forwards rather than creative AMs if we change to a more direct style - Draxler if we retain the current style, roles & balance. FB - Alba - attacking LB with genuine end product
