Don't know much about Fernando and Jung but agree we need ST/CM/RB. We don't need Draxler when Chamberlain looks best out left.

I don't think we need a centre mid this summer. Aaron, Jack, Ox, Flamini, Arteta, Zelalem is more than enough going into next season.

Striker is the only thing that's going to be a game changer for us. A good young centre back should also be on the shopping list, maybe two if Vermaelen is let go.

Flamini is shit and Arteta is old and is seemingly at risk of straining his calves every match. Fernando is a unit and a solid player. Lots of experience in the Champions League and free. I'd get him signed up. Would prefer Schneiderlin but he'd cost at least 15m. Rather keep all the money available for a world record bid for Cavani or Suarez.

We've had a lot of average performances this season and its not all down to Giroud. We need a top midfielder if we want to really take on the Bayerns and Barcas, maybe even 2.

Just get Diego Costa. Fantastic player.

I couldn't take it if we went after unrealistic targets again and in the end miss out on the players we could have had.

But a defensive minded midfielder will transform it? Or do you not think Aaron, Jack and Ox are good enough options for the more offensive minded role.

Someone like Gundogan or Kroos beside Ramsey could make a big difference imo. I wouldn't be too bothered about signing a squad player, we have plenty of options.

Don't think Gundogan is going to be an immediate improvement on Arteta in that role, he'd still have to go through an adaptation period. Sven Bender is a lot more defensive than Ramsey is. Not saying I wouldn't take him, but is it really worth paying 20m+ for him?

I made a thread on this, its been bugging me for ages. I change my mind on a daily basis. If i had the pick of attainable midfielders throughout Europe i'd probably go for Reus and hope Wilshere - Ramsey works long term.

Real will get Suarez, Chelsea will get Costa. We're either getting Cavani (lol) or Benzema.

He has played in Arteta's role this season to great effect, albeit only in a handful of matches. Cox has written a great article about his infuence from deep.

I am not worried about who is to be Arteta's replacement, there are plenty of options out there to go for. From McCarthy to Schneiderlin in the PL, to the Bundesliga options etc. Problem is not sure when Wenger will decide Arteta is too old and slow for our role. He just signed Flamini on a 3 year deal mind you.
