Only Cavani can elevate our attack to City and Pool's standard. Really think he is ungettable though.

Fact is if we even had Higuain we would be leading comfortably in the league.

what are these extra margins? Chelsea, Arsenal and Citeh are all having fantastic seasons. There's very little scope for any of those teams to be leading comfortably at this point in the season.

our attack has done enough but we will be found out when we struggle to break down these top teams in consecutive tough games in February and March, and 2 seconds of brilliance from a van Persie/Suarez type is enough to give you the advantage

We would probably have gotten 3 points at home against Everton, Chelsea, 3 points at Southampton and probably nicked a draw at OT.

I am only counting missed sitters from Giroud.

Chelsea had 38 shots without a goal against WHU this week. Given your formula, I am going to give them two additional points for that game. We can go like this all day until Citeh, Arsenal and Chelsea are all sitting on 60+ points

There is only a handful of WC striker in their prime atm, don't think we will be willing to compete with the likes of Chelsea etc in the summer to get them. would rather get someone like Zlatan for year or 2, could be the perfect mentor for Draxler and is still a WC player.

my wishlist is simple.

one superior striker. does not need to be Cavani. just someone legit. i'd put everything into getting Costa or Benzema.

That's ₆₀ - 70m pounds in transfer fees. a lot but doable

He said we'd be leading comfortably if WE had a better striker, not if we and Chelsea had one.
