I'd agree with this, mainly because I really don't like what Cazorla offers us on the wings. Chambo is still inconsistent though.

It seems a bit rich, but this is the level of quality that City, PSG, Barca and Real have. If we are going to compete with those teams, we need to sort our frontline out over the next 14 months

I have given up on a new shiny ST, so lets go for some skill, pace and trickery on the wings instead and use Theo as our ST when he returns. Wishlist for today:

France has looked much better with Giroud and Benzema than with Benzema and Griezmann, so I guess it's not as easy as to replace players with better ones. Giroud up top wouldn't be the worst if we were class everywhere else.

Eh, I noticed him but world cup is a peculiar tournament where defenders playing for shit clubs can look good in a few matches.

I'm aware that World Cup performances aren't exactly conclusive evidence of a player's ability, but Guillermo Ochoa has looked pretty outstanding for Mexico. Looks strong in the air too which makes me think he's suited for Premier League. We were linked to him a while back, weren't we? Does anyone know why he's a free agent? He seems way too good to not be tied up on a long-term contract.

Muslera is shit. Can't handle the high ball with any consistency at all. I reckon he'd get eaten alive in the PL.

His tea got relegated so he didn't extend with them I think.

He said he wanted to move to a bigger club. He took the bold move to play in europe, something Mexicans don't tend to do but always viewed Ajaccio as a stepping stone.

He is very erratic though, can be world class on his day like how he performed against PSG last season but can also make some silly errors.

But why did he only play three seasons for Ajaccio? I suppose it's not unheard of, but it strikes me as pretty odd to sign a three-year contract when you're in your mid-twenties.
