We could have done with someone like Mitroglou even, 11m is peanuts and I can't figure out how Bendtner is even considered by Wenger suitable cover.

and done what with Mitroglu? 11m is peanuts on the one hand, and on the other hand people complain that we are earning an extra 3m from ticket inflation. 11m is a lot of money. for striker, we do one of three acceptable things

1) bring in a Klose to see out the season
2) get a youngster who will take over from Giroud within 18 months
3) get a bonafide superstar

these Mitroglu ideas i cannot support

City Have Negredo and Jovetic sitting on the bench. This is what we are competing with. I would say Mitroglou is somewhat close to those guys.

Both of them are a LOT better than Kostas fucking Mitroglou though. I am with Claude - no room for players that go straight into the deadwood pile.

Mitroglu has less than a 1 in 2 goal ratio in a worse league than greece. It's not peanuts.

41 goals in 86 league games for by far the best team in greece. It's not a great record by any means. Most of his goals in europe have come against montpellier, liege, sheriff and a defence that included jenkinson, meade and squillaci.

Mirallas had 34 in 52 for the same team in the league btw
