They deserve the hatred for their handling over the past several transfer windows. Especially when put in contrast with the clubs constant PR. The frustration bubbles over on days like today, not that hard to understand why. But the problem is much bigger than today or this transfer window.

Well hate away then I guess.

Worth pointing out that bags of cash free spending Chelsea have not managed to secure a top striker despite searching for a few transfer windows now.
The best strikers are at City, United, Pool, Real, Barca, Bayern and PSG.
It's always been the way that there are only a few brilliant strikers per league, takes time to unearth new contenders or to pay the £60m or so needed to buy an existing great.

Lewandowski? Rooney? Cavani? Falcao?

It's not hate so much as frustration....How not to be frustrated....
Wenger was probably more surprised than anyone that Arsenal landed Ozil....Apart from that signing, it was business as usual....It's not so much about January signings as about the way he goes about the transfer business....Putting together a quality team with enough depth to handle the long term injuries that happen....Walcott, Ramsey....I assume that Jack will be in and out for the rest of the season with his bum ankle.....The backup FBs are below average to barely okay....Giroud is average with what's his name for backup...I'll stop there....So given the current state of affairs, I'm going to assume that Wenger views this season as some kind of interim while he brings in some quality players this summer....Oh, I forgot, he most likely will be off to Brazil...

You can't really compare Torres, Etoo, Ba and Lukaku to us having Giroud and Bendtner; our need for a striker is by far more pressing IMO.

We really could have had a striker if we tried hard enough . Higuain if we pushed for it , Suarez if we slapped an extra £10 million onto our initial offer like Liverpool wanted. We had the money , should have spunked it on Suarez .

Chelsea have failed to score in five PL games this season, we've failed in two.
More of the norm for them than it is for us.

Anyway I agree that I'm more laid back about our not signing a striker than the rest of you.
I don't really know what's made me change my mind.
Plus it's still only 18.00 and we might cadge a last minute loan deal.
