Sounds about right. Decent left foot on him but no lungs and very little mobility. Added to that he's not match fit. I just don't see the point. He obviously won't cope with the tempo in Premier League.

I'm shielded by my ignorance on this because I know zip about him.
For some reason I'm finding it all quite amusing rather than infuriating.
Maybe because I don't see us as being in the dire straits as a lot of you do.

I haven't actually watched Källström since I stopped watching national team games a couple of years ago. But I just can't see him slotting into the PL smoothly.

We needed a player better than Arteta and Flamini and we got Källström. WTF?

I'm embarassed for the club. Not because of Källström, but just our general incompetence.

We're supposed to be title contendors? 😆

Worked so hard to be competitive, brag about all the money we finally have to spend and then waste transfer window after transfer window instead of learning our lesson. Yes, incompetence.

Even if we by some miracle sign Draxler this window, I still think the way we do transfers is ridiculous.

We are title contenders.
One point off the top with fifteen games to play confirms that.
The squad we have has brought us this far, it's stretched to it's limits right now facing into the most crowded, critical part of the fixtures list.
I've believed since the start of this season that it would be our ability to cope without key players that would define our season one way or the other and not some January signing.

I agree with this part.

But that doesn't mean Wenger, Gazidis and the club as a whole don't deserve criticism. In the same way that pulling off the incredible Özil deal doesn't excuse the poor way the club went about it's general business during the summer.

So worked so hard to make us competitive, both financially and on the pitch and successfully so, yet they're still incompetent?

I genuinely don't believe they deserve massive criticism for this transfer window, the business they did in the summer has served us well.
All this hand wringing is based on the absolute conviction that we're going to implode over the next few weeks?
It may happen, but if it's the case, and we are fundamentally that fragile, newcomers to the set-up are not going to make any immediate difference.
I asked a question last night because I couldn't think of the answer: which January signing has ever been key in securing the title for City, Chelsea, United or us?
If nobody can come up with an answer then it's fair to suggest this desperation to sign someone right now is a bit wasted.
