Isn't it doubly infuriating if he can see what we need, and practically runs the club single-handedly and has unlimited clout, but still can't get them to mount the expenditure to actually sign the players identified?
In summer we'll probably sign Draxler and try to sign Bender or similar and fail. Putting us right where we've been this year—third or fourth.
I have great respect for the guy's ability, but I don't think he's the man to ever dig us out of this rut.
