I've never been 100% convinced that Wenger wants to stay longer than this season.
It really would not surprise me if he bowed out on an FA Cup victory.

Imagine winning the FA cup and getting rid of Wenger on the same day. It'd be perfect. He'd go out on a high and we'd be able to move forward on a good moment too. Ideal.

Really hope he does quit. Don't think he can take us any further. Both match tactics and transfer activity leaves a lot to be desired.

he's too arrogant for that. he wants to leave the club in a position where the next manager is just maintaining what bountiful resources and match winners wenger has left him. if he left this summer the next hire (if it's a real hire and not bould) would so greatly improve the team that it would make wenger's last years look like the utter nonsense it was to some, but now to everyone.

There will be no massive improvement without massive investment. 70-100 mil. Like spurs except not botched.

We invested £40m last summer. Similar this summer should see us competitive. We have a lot of good young talent. Shouldn't be too hard to push on with a few smart buys.

I'd say we need to spend about £60-70 mill. Bring in a top class striker and central midfielder. Will cost us at least £50-60 mill. Ship out a bit of dead weight, spend the rest on full back, central defender and winger.

Well we need to create some funds on top of that £40-50m. Sell guys like Vermalen, Podolski, etc and it'd give us a bit more to play with.

Papers say we have £100m including wages to spend. Its plenty.

Vermaelen, Monreal and Podolski should at least give us £35-40 mill. £20 mill on Shaw, £60 mill for a cm and striker, £10-15mill on a young cb.

huh?

i can see a comment like "irrational wenger hater."

but where in that does it seem like i want to be a city fan? i just hate them less than chelsea and liverpool. and this is what it has come to for me as an arsenal fan. hoping the title is won by a team i don't really have any feelings towards since wenger's arsenal certainly can't get it done.
