There's nothing to suggest they're close to signing Mata either, just a bid has been put in similar to the amount they put in for Fabregas.
Yeah he repeatedly said he wouldn't be caught dead playing there, not in so many words of course.

Struggle to see where Mata fits in. Obviously can't play with two forwards so that put's one of Rooney and Van Persie on the bench. Rooney has 12 months on deal in the summer. Van Persie turning 31 in the summer and back to perma-crock state. Kagawa surely will leave. I expect them along with Chelsea to compete with us for top strikers in the summer. I think they'll spend 150m this year. Rooney off Kagawa off Vidic and Evra gone Explain? They could easily play Mata on the left in a 4-2-3-1 He played and shone in that position for Valencia Lack of creativity from wide areas is what has fucked them up the most this season, the likes of Young, Valencia etc have all been abysmal. Mata and Januzaj out wide will rival any team in the league for goals and creativity. And they've got Rafael fit again - he adds a lot to their team going forward.

I was talking about Chelsea and Mata there
Hope Maureen negotiates till deadline days and screws them up....He can't be dumb enough to be that short termist

According to pretty much everyone, this is a done deal. That was never the case with Fabregas.
Would be immense if PSG hi-jack this.
PSG arent interested , where would they play him ?
LW/RW
Rooney's not going to Chelsea either. Moyes'd be lynched by United fans if he sells him to Mourinho.
I doubt it's going to be Moyes' decision.
Deal done according to Ballague : 45 million Euro.
Very expensive. Özil>>>>>>Mata.
Thats huge money for him.
Shows how freaked out United are, banking on Mata to rescue them from Europa League or worse.
Yes, IF true.. Ballague is a known bulshitter so i'll wait and see how it plays out. You can be sure Chelsea will leak the figure.
The thing is they didn't need a number 10 really, unless RVP or Rooney are fucked for the season. They need a centre mid.
Keep telling yourself that. They don't need him in the same way we didn't need Ozil.
Chelsea :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
We didnt need Ozil either to be fair , but look what he's done to the team confidence.
We didn't?
Beg to differ, Ozil is a massive improvement on Rosicky.
