Diego Costa would be ideal and best signing we could get in Jan. £32m is not an insane price.

God forbid.
Think it is more a case of split personalities; DaG, Don Draper, Volante...
The article poses the right question: why would he want to come here?
££££££

Higher wages, bigger club, better chance of winning trophies?

Are you serious? Arsenal is a massive step up from Atletico Madrid.
It will be much harder to convince Atletico to sell in January. If we manage to do that, it will just take a call from Wengie to Costa and it's sorted.
The only point you may have there is that we are a bigger club. But that's about it. Atletico can always renegotiate with him re: salary demands. And I don't know if you've heard, but we haven't exactly done trophies over the past decade or so.
Wenger will have to be in top yarn spinning form to convince him to transfer in January. Don't think a move serves Costa's or Atletico's interests at all at this stage of the season.
Bigger club, better league, better teammates, better manager, etc.
Most of those are debatable. Especially the etc.
I'm starting to think Costa is the best and most realistic signing we can make up top. Suarez would be a waste of time and effort I reckon. After that, who else is there?

He has a release clause. Atletico can do fuck all about it.

Atletico Madrid aren't obliged to sell:

With him we'll win trophies. I'm sure he can see that. All we need is that level of striker and we're set.
It's not like he'll be winning them there with Real and Barca around.
I refuse to be sucked up into believing this might happen
Would be the greatest statement of intent by the club since The signing of Ozil!!!!

Benzema is quality, far better than Giroud and he links up brilliantly with Özil. Their La Liga winning partnership in 11/12 was quality.
