Uh oh. Think that means we're not signing a striker.
We keep Akpom until Bendtner's back and then we pack him off to Brentford, though I suppose it could mean we are waiting to sign a striker at the end of January.

I really don't see Wenger doing anything that's short term, like a Berbatov or Klose. If he can't get in a top (top) player for what he thinks is a fair price, he'll look at young players to gamble on I reckon. Some out of favour Ligue Un talented streak of piss with a bad attitude or summat.

Thats what we all said last time, then he scored a goal and it was brilliant.

Everyone goes on about the goal vs Leeds even though it was pretty irrelevant. His goal vs Sunderland away was absolutely vital. If that chance isn't converted who knows what would have unfolded the rest of the season.
