I remember when we were linked with Herrera. Infact before UTD fucked up Herrera was considered a longtime Arsenal target. Makes me wonder if we will compete with United for him. If United miss out on CL he would most certainly prefer us.
I'd bet a considerable amount of money that we won't be signing Herrara this month.

Herrera himself is having a very poor season. Don't think we will be in for him.
Despite Wenger comments, still think we will sign Berbatov if we can't get anyone and the Bulgarian will surprise us. Ever consider the chance that he will be motivated by the fight and passion that is in our dressing room now?
Even a guy as lazy as Berbatov can be motivated. He'd be bought to win us our first trophy in eight years. He'd have the opportunity to stick it to United after they benched their top scorer and sold him to fucking Fulham later on. He's already said that Ferguson has lost the respect he had for him. Would this be enough to motivate him? It should!
I've no problem with taking a cheap punt on Berbatov but if we're going to do it, do it quick.
Berbatov seems like a distinctly un-Wenger-like striker. I can't seem to find the link now but I remember some video where Wenger (in French) explained how you need your center forward to act as either a "tower" or a "runner" and I would most certainly not classify Berbatov as either one of those.
think we'll ask about costa, balotelli, cavani etc, only to be told fuk off and then we'll try to get in someone on loan/cheap for the rest of the season. wouldn't be surprised if we ended up with berbatov, morata or someone like that.
Probably only a complete idiot would sell us a proven top striker at January when the price of strikers is constantly on the rise.

wolf eikrem plays for herenveen. not sure he will improve cardiff tbh.
moeller daehli on the other hand is a very exciting prospect. very un-norwegian. great close control and vision. just looks like a natural footballer and makes things look easy.
