Denilson could have been class. Didn't want it enough.
Stocking fillers—a letter to Stan-ta Klaus
In the same way that Pennant could have been class?
No...
Blaise Matuidi
I'd rather play the ox
Completely different type of player.
Supposedly Rooney wanted ferguson to sign ozil and is a big fan. So make a bid for Rooney in January.
Would United allow him to leave in January though?

I'd rather play alaba then

What's it you don't like about him?
I don't particularly dislike him, just don't see the value in signing him. Physically he's immense, very strong and runs well. Very good strike on his left foot too. On the ball he's quite average IMO. He's not a player who is going to make the team tick, and in his best position we already have a better player (Ramsey).
Roma paid 20m Euros for him didn't they?

They did.
Think you are underrating his ball skills, his forward passing can be Alonso-esque. Check out his pass for the Narsingh goal in the Netherlands vs Turkey qualifier (can't find it on youtube though). He's got those sort of passes in him. I think he's a bit like a more dynamic Alonso.
Maybe I've seen the wrong matches, but I've never seen anything to suggest he has the range of an Alonso. In fact, vs Napoli last week I kept asking myself when he would play a forward pass.
