To be fair any top striker would fit well and love it here. Zlatan, Suarez, Lewandowski, Rooney
Stocking fillers—a letter to Stan-ta Klaus
Any of those guys running around with our boys would be magical.
But to Giroud's credit, he's doing the job. A hardworking version of lanky, big-headed Togolese imbecile. He looks like he's really enjoying his football, and his selflessness is doing big things for our midfielders like Ozil and Wilshere.
Am I the only one slightly worried that Giroud's form will get Wenger to re-think about the type of striker he will look to beef up the squad with? Still think he will look for a striker since we are a player short in that position, but I am not so sure he will look for a Lewandowski/Rooney/Suarez/Higuain striker anymore, but instead try to find someone on the cheap.
He might go after another incomplete youngster, but someone already good enough to be trusted as back up. To be honest I wouldn't mind if we brought in top class wide forward like Reus.

I tend to agree here. Girouds hold up and link up play this season has been brilliant. We'd have to change drastically to accommodate some of the strikers wishlisted. Now if you get a world class forward then it may be worth it but you need the right fit too. Big risk trying to replace Giroud in January if he's still in this sort of form.
Don't think we could sign a world class centre forward in January anyway.
We need to get someone in though. Its a tricky window for Wenger now.
Wenger will use Podolski as Giroud's back up unless some sort of unbelievable deal becomes available.
Like I said Llorente fits for Jan.
As for link up-play while Giroud has been doing great let's not forget that most of Suarez, Rooney, Lewandowski etc. are all good link up players too
I think we need someone who links up and pushes defences back. Suarez starts too deep, that's why pool look better with him off Sturridge. Rooneys similar, comes deep too often. I think it'd clog us up.
llorente in january and suarez in may.

We are crying out for someone like Suarez definitely. We really need a instinctive dribbler who can provoke defences and create space.
Being optimistic, I would say addition of Suarez alone to our current squad would win us the title
Was thinking yesterday how good Suarez would be
Definite quality
Edin Dzeko if we can't sign Balotelli.
Alaba
He wouldn't come to us unless Wenger promised him he'd play in midfield.
Dat's wat imma wishin for blad
Alaba next to Ramsey? I'd rather play Chamberlain there than go for Alaba.
Yep but you also loved Denilson
I'm just sayin blad
