When have you ever seen him play #9? Using him there would be like using Podolski or Walcott up front. An experiment at best.
We're not short a left sided player anyway.

Don't think he's ever played up front. I know Griezmann quite well - talented player who is doing well at Sociedad (i have some family members who support them as we are Basque), but not so much better/ready than guys like Oxlade or even Gnarbs.
We really only need a starting CF in my opinion, any other gaps can be filled by promising kids or utility men.

Yep. Signing just one player, the right centre forward, would lift the level of the squad tremendously IMO.
Apparently Diego Costa is only on £26k per week.
He told you that?
He didn't have to, Volly watches so much football he knows just by looking at them. It's like when you go into a suit shop and they know your exact waist, chest, penis and leg size just by looking.
Anyone know how Luis Fabiano is doing in Brazil? He's getting old now but he fits the bill. Could probably think of worse stop-gap solutions.

I think Fred or Milito are other possible stop-gap solutions.
Fred yes! He'd give that physical presence wengy likes
no said Fred.

Hasn't Fred's team just been relegated or something? Think I read that recently.
He'd also probably be very reluctant moving ahead of the WC. He is currently a starter for Brazil, so I think he values having a secure starting spot in his club team.
Think his spot is secure no matter what.
Fred isn't still first choice for Brazil though, is he? It's Jo now isn't it?
Its still Fred but he is out for quite awhile with injury. Scolari basically said Fred will be his first choice if he is fit.
Whats Nilmar doing nowadays?
Picking up class wages in Qatar. He could have been really good, was brilliant for Villarreal from 2009-2011. I wanted him at Arsenal.

It's still up for grabs really according to Filipão and the Brazilian media. The both of them are very limited players - we might as well stick with Giroud if Fred is the alternative.
The only Brazilian striker worth getting is Diego Costa.
I still think pato could be lethal, Pace with close control and quick feet dribbling with upper body strength, is always a lethal combo.
