Pretty happy, think he'd be a great foil for Vermaelen, Koscielny and maybe Cahill. We were at our 'best' last year when we had Djourou sitting deeper (despite what people say about our high-line), and I think we'll have a more dependable way of doing that now. Otherwise we have too many impulsive players who get caught put of position too often.
He's like a good version of Samba.
Could have maybe done better, but considering we were discussing names like Scott Dann and the aforementioned fat Samba, we've done reasonably well if it's true.
He's big, experienced, and reasonably smart. Like I said, fairly happy.
