I know it goes on everywhere but normally players are a little more discreet about it.

Hope Dortmund pursue Bayern legally, they really should, would be a good way to appease the fans a bit too.

He goes one better and says that he thinks he'll be able to leave in January.

Why on earth would they stand firm and not sell only to let him go in january?

He will sign a pre-contract but that means he is still playing out this season, and I heard they offered him favourable terms on a 1 year deal with incentives for dortmund results and goals scored.

He is just saying he will sign a contract there. His mind is set.

Rex still don't believe though

does German league / Bundesliga regulations allow him to sign for another German team in January? i thought he could only sign with foreign clubs

How is any of this even allowed? 😆

There's no way Dortmund have given him permission is there?

I think Lewandowski had a clause that said he would be allowed to talk to other clubs if they bid for him and met certain conditions. I imagine it was a bit similar to the Suarez clause. Of course, since that club was Bayern and they had just taken Götze, there was no way Dortmund would release him.

You know what that means gays, and Y va - It. Isn't. Done!!!!

Quite frankly, lewandowski has shown himself up as an utter thunder cunt. Players leave in all sorts of manner, and most fans get too emotional, but this is an absolute betrayal of epic proportions. The fact he is so brazenly speaking about this transfer shows you his exact character. I would never want him at this club.

Must be depressing being a Dortmund fan. On one hand you are challenging for the title and and CL. And on the other your closest rivals are taking your star academy player and world class goalscorer for free. And the players completely disrespect the club.

How is Lewandowski a cunt? He was given permission to leave this season after staying last season amid strong interest from Manchester United. The only reason Dortmund didn't sell was that Bayern snapped up Gotze and letting both go to Bayern would be a disaster for them. He's only come out publicly on this after they refused to keep their word. He wanted to even extend his contract last year but they weren't willing to put him up with the top performers. The only thing that is wrong is he wants out to ONLY bayern but they offer him an insane salary and are treble winners. An added bonus is he walks in as number one no matter how good a season Mandzukic has.

Because it's all incredibly public.

He decided to join the clubs main rivals. He did so before the season even finished. Before they played each other in the CL final. He's made a lot of noise about it and is continuing to do so. And he's refusing to join anyone but the clubs main rivals. He's a cunt.

His list of offences is worse than van Persie's.

And now Gotze is making noise about him loving Lewandowski to join him. If anything Gotze is even worse, but thats not to say Lewandowski is an angel. Betraying the club who nurtured him.

To be fair it was Bayern who activated his release clause. Götze was given the choice to either turn them down or to accept, but he had to choose. Bayern made it clear that the offer wasn't going to be on the table once the season was finished. It's a bit poor to go there to begin with given the rivaly but it's not like he picked the moment. And Dortmund inserted the release clause in his contract specifically to be able to keep him for a while longer and then cash in on him. He could have run his contract down instead and left them for free this summer. Stuff like this always gets lost in the narrative spun by newspapers.

Plus Bayern made him the highest paid player in Germany.

All the clubs are at it mate, this what the Liverpool MD had to say about our bid for Suarez

He said: "That's the transfer market. I have huge respect for Arsenal, they're a great football club, with some great people. I'm good friends with Ivan (Gazidis). Trying to get players, making offers for players, it's all part of the game.

"Anyone who says it isn't and makes a big noise is not really being honest. Everybody does the same thing in football, everybody's trying to achieve the same thing, we're all trying our best to buy the best players for the best price."

Like they say those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones! Dortmund have done the dirty on other clubs so they can't complain when the same is done to them!

I would have done the same. Without thinking twice about it.

It IS ridiculous. At least 4 or 5 better players at Bayern.
