Could rethink it now. And we have a great opportunity to show him where would be a good place to go. A half German club, with many poles around.
Wouldn't mind if we get Reus, though.
Wenger's extension
I am of the opinion that if Reus wants to leave or Dortmund wants to sell, his first choice would be us. Reus is an Arsenal fan. Would be dream come true that.
Funny how football moves along this fast. When Reus was first linked with us when he was at Monchengladbach, there were alot of skeptics here at being linked with yet another no name. Now he is one of the best players in the world. Aubameyang is set to go that route too.
When we were linked to Reus he was the best player in the bundesliga playing up front for monchenglabach, hardly a no name.
Wish we had gone all out to get him then.
More proven now and we will get him in summer for 35m euro. It's what teams like ManU and Madrid have been doing all these years; take the financial hit for proven quality.

I think it's Wenger's influence that resulted in us going for someone 'top top quality' rather than settling for the likes of Lamela and Soldado. Though that's also probably why we don't have the top quality striker we need.
Kroenke doesn't seem like the type of guy to have someone go crazy on his money like that though.
Also, I tend to agree with Qs. Wenger was instrumental in the Ozil purchase, but if he was left to his own devices, would we have even made contact?
