Same here. Watched the Germany game as well to check out Oz. TBF he wasn't needed and hardly got out of 2nd gear till someone clattered Kroos for being too German. God almighty! I wanted to support them but they are soooo difficult to like.
99% pass completion on the day, and created the most goal scoring opps
decent

Been my favourite international team for years.
Did you watch the game? Boateng was terrible. Constantly playing the no name Austrian strikers onside, time and time again. Luckily for him Per was mighty but the MOM was Khedira closely followed by Per and Kroos and then maybe Klose.
Was really worried for Özil in the last 20 when the Austrians kicked the shit out of everything in a white shirt. As pointed out, our guy hardly got out of second gear.
Ref did well by brandishing yellow cards straight away before anyone got injured and the substitution of Klose also removed one of the main targets for the Austrians.
Such a joy to watch.
That video maker absolutely love him. So many Ozil video. Real Madrid fan though.

I see what you mean. Agree with that, which is why I always think Cesc is very awkward playing in advance position. His lack of pace always hurting his game.
£31.5 million for Gotze or £42 million for Ozil?

The fees are getting too ridiculous to make any sense of now that £42.4m is talked about as a bargain. For anyone who can afford a £31.5m player, the choice between the players probably won't be because of price. Just purely on what player they prefer. And I prefer Ozil, although I have only seen Gotze play a few times.
The one who isn't a penis. The former isn't actually a starter for Germany is he? Ozil has his spot...
I don't get questions like this. £10million difference is nothing when you're chasing top class players, so it just comes down to who is the better player, and that is Ozil.
Honestly would be a hard decision for me because I love Gotze's game and he is younger.

One's 21 and the other is 24, hardly makes a difference. If anything, it works out in Ozil's advantage since he's been through a hell of a lot more than Goetze has
Who knows what Gotze is like at 24? Not to mention I do think Gotze is much more versatile. Like I said, very hard decision. Ozil is a much more accomplished player anyway.
Different players, difficult to compare. But I think Ozil will have a bigger impact on our team than Gotze would have.
I agree, we need someone who's been there and done that. For Arsenal the decision is a lot more straightforward, Bayern, on the other hand, can afford to hedge their bets on Gotze potential
Still think Reus is better than Gotze.
Reus is more unique than gotze, aren't many wide-forwards like him around.
Reus wouldn't solve our striker problem. Giroud would still play at 9.
