Yes, and look at us. This is the first summer for longer than I care to remember where it didn't feel like we were going backwards. I like Dortmund and would prefer that they kept their best players (European football is boring enough as it is without Chelsea, Barca and Madrid buying everyone who knows how to kick a ball), but Götze was always the magic bullet. Losing him to their biggest rivals set the tone for the next few years.
I'm sure Dortmund will try to buy Sahin when his loan deal expires, but it's in Real's hands at that point at least. We could always offer them more money.
