One of the most overrated players ever to be honest, never reached the consistency of a proper world class player IMO. Still, at his peak he was winning matches on his own in a way you don't see too often.

Agreed.

Is he as overrated as Zidane, Volly? 🙂

What the hell are you two donuts on about? 😆

Kaka being overrated. Bloke spent many of his peak years doing sweet fuck all. Only had 2 (3 if we're being really generous) world class seasons in his entire career.

He isn't and wasn't overrated. You have to stop these ridiculous statements at some point. Absolutely sublime player.

Never said he wasn't a great player. And yes, he is overrated.

Overrated by who exactly?

You do know what overrated means, right?

If you know what it means, don't throw it around so casually. Kaka is rated exactly as much as he should be; a brilliant player whose best days are long gone.

Volly, how many world class seasons did Bergkamp have at Arsenal?

Four or five. He was rubbish his last 3/4 seasons at the club.

Kaká was unbelievable at his peak. One of the best players I've ever seen. He was the heart and soul of everything good Milan did in the last decade.

You also don't know what rubbish means. Captain hyperbole.

There was something about Kaka was made him an amazing player to watch. So subtle and smooth in everything he did, whether it was running with the ball, passing it or striking it.

Kaka was king of the counter attack. Wasn't as good as the top playmakers in the buildup.

Adriano was so good at the 2004 Copa America.

Who'd you say was the best at Copa Libertadores '66?

Wenger was in for him as well and i was so disappointed he chose Milan.
Even after he joined them, i think, Wenger still wanted him.
Can you imagine him joining the invincibles rather than Reyes?

Kaka would have really ripped shit up in that team. We'd have probably done better in Europe.

Leonardo was the main reason Kaka joined Milan so don't think we ever had a realistic chance of signing him.

Wonderful player and in 2007 he was the best player in the world.

Those tapes must be fake then.

England. Was fixed though.

He had technique, intelligence and the ability to use both feet when required. Loved the way he hardly ever gave the defender the opportunity to tackle him by using change of pace and direction to his advantage all done so smoothly. Absolute Rolls Royce player.

Was deceptively strong as well.

Was absolute class when I saw him up close.

Lucky you! Would have loved to see him live at the time.

Loved it when he smashed United to pieces at OT

I vaguely remember a hilarious collision of 2 twinklers trying to tackle him on one of his goals.

LOL @ Kaka being overrated. Possibly one of the most graceful footballer of the last decade.

His OT performance is up there with the best. No fanciful skills, just pure class.

He was world class at his peak, but he was still overrated IMO. Never the genius that Ronaldinho was, yet I lost count of the number of people (both online and in real life) who tried to convince me he was better than Dinho. Most of them told me he'll go down in history as a better player than Zidane.

Also, he didn't last long at the very top.

Kaka played 3 seasons at least at an incredible level, same as Ronaldinho really. There is no point comparing the two, Kaka was definitely not overrated.

Some 19 year old kid who plays for Sassuolo and is owned by Juve has scored a first time hat trick against Milan.

Domenico Berardi. He's looked class all season as far as I can tell. Gotta say, Sassuolo have made a positive impression on me every time I've seen them. I don't think the table reflects their quality at the moment. They are a fun team to watch. Their main problem seems to be that they can't defend.

I can't believe that Allegri still has a job, by the way. Makes you wonder how much he really earns. There has to be a strong economic incentive for Milan not to fire him.
