Not for one second in truth. This is Roma we're talking about, they make our 08-11 sides look like born winners. Would have been a little nervous if Napoli had won 10 straight perhaps.

I just watched some highlights from the Milan game. Kaka is turning back the clock at the moment. He looks like the player he was back in 08/09 again. Bagged a brace against Atalanta and was the best player on the field.

Just saw this. Real shame. He's such a class act. You'd never guess his age just looking at him on the field. His movement, his anticipation, is that of a player in his prime and not in his twilight years. He scored one of the best goals I saw last year against Chievo:

Class is permanent.

It was pretty obvious Madrid was not using him correctly and didn't give him a good run in the team.

Absolutely, but there was the constant injuries too. He seems completely fit for the first time in nearly three years now. He's at least a yard quicker than he was in Spain.

Good to see him playing well, very elegant player to watch. Weird seeing him with the captains armband though. I know they'll probably sign him and he's been there before and Montolivio is missing and all that but surely you don't give the armband to a player on loan!

I wanted us to get him so much when RVP left 2 years ago, when Madrid and most thought he was past it. Should have been a gamble worth taking.

I always thought whenever he played at Madrid he still looked good.

Anyway, now with Honda and Fernando to join, Milan is rebuilding well.

Long after that transfer window shut Kaka said that he had agreed terms but there was a snag that stopped the deal to arsenal. Probably his agent wanting a fortune.

Are you saying he's still not past his best?

Kaka isn't a top player any more IMO.

One of the most overrated players ever to be honest, never reached the consistency of a proper world class player IMO. Still, at his peak he was winning matches on his own in a way you don't see too often.
